Field trip has been rescheduled to Thursday October 26th due to weather. Those that ordered hot lunch that day will be credited next month. Please wear gym uniforms Thursday and bring bag lunch!
Saint Play on October 30th was changed to 9:30. The Saints will meet you in the cafeteria!
Tests this week on Wednesday are Religion chapter 4 and weekly reading test on , A fox and a Kit.

Help your child stay organized and prepared for class by bringing homework and pencil cases back and forth to school!
Words this week are: saw, tree, small, your. Please make sure kids are setting up copybooks correctly and using proper lines in copybook when writing their letters.

We have been modeling how homework done in our "W" word work copybook for sight words/ high frequency words. We will practice this week with these words from our story: cat, lap, see, ran, back.
Math homework this week. Please remember to bring book back every day as this is our class book too! Always feel free to do addition and multiplication flash cards!
40 book challenge books will come home every night so that the kids can write down the books they are reading! I'd like the kids to write a reaction about the story! What did they like? What connections did they make? Was it funny? Boring? Difficult? What was the setting, characters, main idea, etc. Challenge them to write as much as you think they are able! Have them sound out what they hear. Do not spell every word for them. I can read almost anything!
Mystery Reader dates open to sign up : 9/22, 9/29, 11/3, 1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26, 2/9, 2/23, 3/2, 3/9, 5/4, 5/18.
We will do a Religion test together on Friday in class to test on chapter 1. The test is read to them and first one is really easy!
Reading test will be given Tuesday on Sam Come Back! Review sight words and reread story. Review of skills is done in class to prepare for the test on a normal basis!
